discography
Audrey's punk-rock edge can be heard in "Chatter" the most popular song she recorded with her former band, Strumpet. Her wail of aggravation at the song's climax evokes Robert Plant's glass-shattering vocals.
The title track from the "Phase" EP shows off Audrey's sharp lyrics:
"There is space and there is time
And you have yours and I have mine
We welcome all the different things
But change is hard for what it brings"
Swirling, trance-line acoustic guitar rhythms show off an emotional sensitivity which never stops moving to let down its guard.
A crunchy, Zeppelin-esque riff sets the tone for "Rebellion" a rocker about helpless, romantic abandon.
"One Subject Notebook" shows what might happen if Audrey wrote a song when no one was looking or judging. A sparse, lyrical ballad, "One Subject Notebook" is considered by some to be her most accomplished piece.
